Why blue light

Screens are bright in a way daylight is not.

Phones, laptops and LED lighting put out a lot of energy in the blue end of the spectrum. Our clear lenses filter a portion of it while keeping colors true, so you can wear them all day. The orange and red Dusk lenses filter far more for the hours before bed. Neither is a medical device, and we will not pretend otherwise. Plenty of people simply find screens more comfortable through them, and those people keep coming back.

  • Clear for day, orange for night

Six clear styles you can wear on a video call. One tinted style, in orange or red, for the evening wind-down.

  • Coated, rated, cased

Anti-reflective and scratch-resistant coatings, UV400 rated lenses, and a hard case with every adult frame.

  • Seven frames, on purpose

Not four hundred. Each one fills a real gap: a face shape, a mood, a time of day.

Dusk night lenses

The last two hours look different.

Dusk swaps clear lenses for orange or red ones that filter most of the blue light in the 400 to 500 nm range. The world goes warm, the phone stops glaring, and the frame is a plain black square, so it does not look like lab gear. Put them on after dinner and leave them on the nightstand.

Good to know

Questions, answered.

Do blue light glasses actually work?

The lenses measurably filter part of the blue light a screen emits, and the orange and red Dusk lenses filter most of it. Whether that eases your eyes or your sleep is personal, and the research is mixed, so we do not make medical claims. Many customers find screens more comfortable through them. If yours do not help, send them back within 30 days.

Will the clear lenses tint my screen?

Barely. The clear lenses have a faint blue reflection on the surface and a very slight warmth you stop noticing in minutes. Dusk's orange and red lenses are a different story and are meant for evenings, not for color-critical work or driving.

How long does shipping take?

Orders ship within 1 to 3 business days and typically arrive in 7 to 12 business days, with tracking emailed the moment they leave. Orders over $40 ship free; otherwise it is a flat $4.95.

What if they do not fit?

Every product page lists lens width, bridge and temple length so you can compare with a pair you own. If they still do not suit you, return them within 30 days for a refund or an exchange for another frame.

Can I get these in my prescription?

Not yet. Every Evenlight frame ships with non-prescription blue light filtering lenses, so they work over contacts or as screen glasses on their own.
